Placemats Community Service sewing project
We are a sewing education organization. Although we are not a charity group, we do offer opportunities for volunteering to do sewing projects for our communities for those who wish to engage that way. Volunteers from the Chapter have sewn and donated placemats to St. Paul's Meals on Wheels in Pitcairn. St. Paul's delivers meals to Pitcairn, parts of Monroeville, Trafford, Level Green, Wall and Wilmerding. In a note from St. Paul's thanking us for the placemats, the writer said, "All of our people love them and think they are great." We are still engaged with this project -- bring completed approximately 12" x 15" placemats to the Fall Luncheon with you on October 6!
